Grade: 4 Salary: \xc2\xa39,139 per annum - 18 hpw term time

The Governing Body of are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed part time Design Technology and Drama Technician to provide technical support to a busy Design and Technology department, to help deliver a diverse range of practical lessons to join our school team.

There will also be four hours a week allocated to assist the Drama and Theatre Studies department with technical support.

A suitable applicant will have a good all-round education, including both written and spoken English and a confidence working safely with machinery, which is essential for the safe and effective production of work in practical lessons. They must be confident working independently, as well as part of a team, and have experience in the same or similar role.

Applicants will enjoy a varied daily routine, with a range of responsibilities within the departments to enable the smooth running of hands-on activities, such as preparing materials for lessons, stock control, basic maintenance, organising resources and assisting pupils. An interest in Design and Technology in general is required.

Spalding High School is an 11 - 18 academically selective community girls\' grammar school with boys in the sixth form and has an excellent reputation within the local community and region.
