We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our team at our Hamilton site.

The successful candidate will join our Design Studio and, working as part of the current design team, will be responsible for producing visually compelling designs that support our brand, marketing, and communications efforts across various platforms. Working with internal teams across our various sites, you will use your creative skills to help develop product concepts, visuals, packaging, photographic and social media communications, trade advertising and much more in conjunction with some of the biggest brand licenses in the world (from Disney and Warner Bros. to Mars and Thorntons). You should have a strong portfolio, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a passion for turning ideas into effective visual content
This is a fast paced role, where the successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in Graphic Design for Print/Visual Communication with proven experience as a Graphic Designer. They will also require a high degree of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
This role is based in Hamilton with hybrid working as an option, however a willingness to travel is required, as occasionally may be asked to visit our other sites.

This is what you'll actually do!
As the Designer they will create designs for digital and print media including social media graphics, website assets, email campaigns, brochures, posters, presentations, advertisements, signage, packaging and product component using style guides to create product and packaging concepts for licensor approvals. They will utilise and manage artwork for licensors online approval systems as well as collaborating with marketing, product, and category/sales teams to understand project goals and translate these into visual concepts and required designs for internal and own label brands.
They will be taught the basics of product photography and photographic/media editing and working will be expected to work with the senior media designer and communications manager to maintain and evolve company brand identity across all materials.

Degree level qualification in Graphic Design for Print/Visual Communication
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer
High degree of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong portfolio showcasing design skills across various media types.
Excellent visual, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
Confident personality, capable of collaborating with a large multi department/site teams
[Optional: Basic knowledge of photography, photo and video editing is a plus.]
