The Person


As a Desktop Adjuster you will be handling a mixed portfolio of Household and Commercial Property claims. The role provides an invaluable opportunity for development within Specialist Services with support from a professional and capable team. The role requires someone who is well organised, systematic in approach, motivated, receptive to positive change, and able to work to tight deadlines.



Responsibilities


The responsibilities of the

Desktop Adjuster

include (though are not limited to):

Carrying out Sightcalls (video interviews) and generating a preliminary report to Insurers. Negotiating, settling or repudiating claims in relation to own assigned caseload (both Household and Commercial losses). Generating loss adjuster reports and issuing these to Insurers. Obtaining substantiating documentation in relation to the claim such as pricing validation, fire, police, weather and Equifax reports. Appointing Quadrassist and non-network suppliers. Liaising with Insurers and policyholders to obtain information to manage claims. Generating and issuing written communication including reports, settlements and repudiations to policyholders. To work alongside the Technical team and, in quieter periods, to assist with other Technical tasks as required. Uphold Woodgate & Clark Ltd Code of Business Conduct at all times. You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required and notified to you by the Company.
