Job Description




This engineer will be the only engineer onsite, I would like to emphasize the requirement to work independently.

Job responsibilities:

  • Respond to computer related service and trouble calls
  • (Desktops/laptops) - Hardware and software trouble shooting
  • Some hardware support experience required e.g. installing memory/hard drives
  • Diagnose printer another peripheral device failures and implement solutions
  • Provide installation and upgrade services of supported hardware and software
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills and knowledge
  • support of key engineering applications at use within the business
  • Move work stations and peripherals, as required
  • Receive and provide required equipment (install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware) IMAC (Installs/moves/add/changes)
  • Proficient with \'remote worker\' technology, accessibility and troubleshooting skills
Job Requirements

Required experience and education
  • 2 years experience in an IT support role
  • Candidates need to be flexible as some cover at alternative sites may be required (driving license required)
  • Candidates need to be flexible, efficient and be able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non technical audience
  • Strong sense of customer service skills
  • good organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Team focused
