We have an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Validator to join our team in AXA Retail on a permanent basis in our Morecambe office. You'll use your expertise in property assessment and analysis to support our claims processes, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:



Demonstrating effective communication skills to ensure good customer relationships and deliver excellent customer care. Evaluating remote building repair works. Handling supplier disputes and first escalation complaints from customers, to guarantee appropriate resolution for all parties. Proactively managing claims to settlement within agreed authority levels, in compliance with Company Policy, processes and to agreed quality standards. Making use of all desktop tools available to provide a cost efficient and timely claims handling service. Liaising and managing suppliers to ensure a consistent customer claims journey. Appling corporate guidelines at all stages of a claim to deliver quality claims handling service, abiding by DPA, FCA and TCF guidelines. Coaching, supporting and taking referrals from within and outside of the team to increase the competence and effectiveness of the department.

What you'll bring:



Ability to evaluate repair works and associated costs and confidently convey our settlement proposals. Excellent customer service experience and ability to manage expectations effectively. Household Insurance experience and Dispute Resolution experience, desirable. Passionate about working as part of a collaborative team. Ability to prioritise and manage own caseload effectively.
