Despatch Bagging Team Leader - Parker Knoll

Job Overview

As a key team member of the despatch team, the role holder's key duties will be:

Main objective is to supervise the bagging area To ensure all products for the day's production are processed. Control the labour by managing on a day to day basis Report any absenteeism daily to the Manager. Make sure all break times are adhered to. Patrol the area, identifying where the labour needs to be and move around as necessary. Check with loaders to identify any pieces that we are waiting for and prioritize for bagging. Feedback any issues to relevant staff member to resolve in time for load. Report any known failures to Despatch office immediately. Be pro -active, help in any area that needs assistance including bagging furniture. Monitor housekeeping and ensure operatives keep all work areas clear. Ensure all bagging areas have the correct materials to enable the pieces to be bagged. To be forward thinking and organize for the following day.
