What you will be doing:



As a despatch Co-ordinator you oversee the efficient planning and execution of goods transportation, utilising communication, technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with regulations. You contribute to the seamless function of the supply chain whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Working with production following scheduled delivery targets via eSharp. Also identifying products that can be delivered early whenever possible. Ensuring products are properly and securely packaged and labelled for transport, which includes tasks such as selecting appropriate materials and maintaining quality control. The primary objective is to protect goods during transit, comply with industry standards, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction. Responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from the point of origin to the final destination. This involves overseeing transportation logistics, route planning, and ensuring timely deliveries. Liaise with various stakeholders within Pentaxia as well as drivers, and customers to relay information about shipments, delivery schedules, and any potential issues that may arise. Maintaining accurate records, system transactions and preparing documentation. This could include but is not limited to Commercial Invoices, applying for export licences and any other relevant documents to ensure compliance with regulations and to facilitate smooth operations. Ensuring that on completion all job cards and associated documentation are filed so that they are identified, protected and easily retrievable. Prepare for off-site storage. Assisting the store's operation when required. This may include support with sage transactions and stock takes. Ensure that all despatch-related tasks, procedures and documentation meet the requirements of Pentaxia and its Customers and also its internal Quality Management System. To work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision. Fulfil any training programme deemed necessary to allow the efficient performance of duties and development of personal performance. Full compliance with all QA, E,H&S policies, procedures and processes. To ensure employees, visitors and contractors observe health and safety measures, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health and safety, Quality and environmental policies and procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of both staff, visitors, and any external contractors. Other duties as directed.

Your working hours:

37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm

Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm

Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on production needs.
