Job Description

We're Nicola Jane.

(

& you could be too.

)
We design bras and swimwear with heart. For people affected by breast cancer, comfort, confidence, and care are everything - and we're here to deliver just that.

Beginning

Nicola started Nicola Jane over 40 years ago with one mission: to help people feel like themselves again after breast surgery. Fast forward to today, we're the UK's leading specialist in post-surgery lingerie and swimwear. With an amazing team behind us, a loyal customer base, and a growing online and retail presence - we're showing the world that thoughtful design can change lives.

Where we're at

Every day, we're helping customers across the UK and beyond feel more confident, more comfortable, and more themselves. We're expanding fast - and that's where you come in.

We're looking for a

Despatch Manager

who's organised, proactive, and passionate about doing things properly. Someone who can keep the cogs turning behind the scenes so that every order, big or small, gets to our customers quickly and with care.

Next Chapter

We're not your average retailer - and this isn't your average despatch role. We have big plans for the next few years!
If you're ready to take the lead in a busy but supportive environment where people (and parcels) matter - this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing

You'll make sure our customers get what they've ordered - and feel the Nicola Jane difference in every parcel.

You'll be:

Running the show

: Managing the day-to-day operations of our despatch department, keeping everything on time and on track.

Leading the team

: Inspiring and managing a small (but mighty) team to pick, pack, and send with accuracy and care.

Keeping things flowing

: Scheduling workloads, prioritising tasks, and managing resources to meet daily despatch targets.

Resolution focused

: Working closely with couriers to resolve delivery issues and improve our delivery experience. Planning layout and space for our lovely new products.

Staying sharp

: Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with purchasing teams, and spotting any issues before they become problems.

Making it better

: Identifying areas for improvement in processes, systems, and service - then making it happen.

Reporting on progress

: Creating clear reports and updates on team performance, stock movement, and KPIs for management.

Keeping it safe

: Ensuring the despatch area meets health and safety requirements and our team has everything they need to work safely.

What we're looking for

You don't need to have it all, but here's what would help:

A proven track record in despatch, logistics, or warehouse management. Strong team leadership - you know how to motivate, support and get the best from people. Detail-driven and organised - you spot errors, fix them, and keep things tidy. Tech confident - happy using despatch software, Microsoft Excel, and order management tools. Calm under pressure - when things get busy (and they will), you stay cool and focused. Process-savvy - you've got a keen eye for how things could be improved and aren't afraid to speak up. A positive, can-do attitude. We like problem solvers and team players.

The important bit

We know that confidence looks different on everyone - and that goes for job applications too. If you think this sounds like your kind of role but you don't tick every single box, we still want to hear from you. Show us what you've got. Let's talk.
