Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dessert Maker to join our team at a restaurant in Shakes 'n' Cakes In Inverness, Scotland, UK. As a Dessert Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and creating delicious desserts for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for culinary arts and a love for creating sweet treats.

Duties:
- Prepare and create a variety of desserts and other Sweet treats.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all desserts
- Decorate desserts using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed throughout the dessert preparation process
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert orders with the overall meal service
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring dessert ingredients and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished
- Maintain a clean and organised dessert station

is responsible for picking up and delivering food orders from restaurant to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Pickup & Delivery

Collect food orders from restaurant. Deliver orders to customers at their specified location. Ensure accuracy of orders before leaving the restaurant.

Customer Service

Communicate politely and professionally with customers. Handle customer concerns or complaints if any arise. Follow delivery instructions (e.g., leave at door, call on arrival).

Time Management

Deliver food promptly to ensure it stays fresh and warm. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery time expectations.

Cash & Payment Handling (if applicable)

Collect cash or confirm online payments when required. Provide correct change and receipts as necessary.
