We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Dessert Shop Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of delicious desserts while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key part in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they leave with a smile and a sweet treat.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist customers by providing recommendations and upselling dessert options to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation and delivery of desserts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for desserts and culinary arts, with a willingness to learn new techniques. Ability to work well as part of a team while also being proactive in assisting customers. Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.

LONG HOURS AND SHIFTS AVAILABLE, STORE IS OPEN 7 DAYS

STORE IS A TAKE AWAY ONLY SERVICE

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
