We are seeking a proactive and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in food preparation and kitchen management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation efficiently.
Assist in developing menu items and optimise food production processes for efficiency and quality.
Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Uphold hospitality standards by fostering a positive working environment and encouraging teamwork.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organisation within the shop area.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Supervising experience with strong team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or barista roles is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of shop operations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer service situations professionally.
