As a Destination Services Executive at Marella Cruises, you'll be the driving force behind our unforgettable shore excursion experiences, managing our product content and supporting the delivery of our Destination Services programme across all our cruise destinations.

ABOUT THE JOB



You'll manage the end-to-end delivery of Destination Services content, supporting sales maximisation across all our platforms while ensuring we meet our profit targets. Supporting the tender and contracting process is key to this role, as you'll track supplier replies and review rates with necessary negotiation to help make final decisions. We'll rely on you to lead the selection of excursions and implementation of the programme, while providing crucial support to our onboard teams with day-to-day operations. Taking responsibility for supporting the Health & Safety process for your regions ensures our customers enjoy their experiences with complete peace of mind. As our Destination Services contact, you'll manage relationships with key external suppliers and liaise with other head office departments to ensure content readiness. The role includes deputising for the Destination Services Operations Manager at key industry events such as Seatrade and World Travel Market, as well as supporting recruitment of our overseas teams.

You bring a well-developed knowledge of the cruise industry and travel destinations, with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. Your effective planning and organising skills help you coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. We value your proven decision-making ability and creative thinking to identify new ideas that will enhance our shore excursion offerings. Working accurately under pressure comes naturally to you, as does meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with suppliers, colleagues and stakeholders across the business. You're a collaborative team player with leadership qualities and have a willingness to travel overseas when required.
