Job Description
I am seeking a development & mobilization chef who wants to look at a new and exciting opportunity, I am working with an in-house caterer who oversees multiple sites within the large university. Ideally my client is looking for a development chef who can help with development from busy retail, grab and go as well as bars and quick service restaurants.
This chef will be part of a great team where food and service is key and that process and procedure helps manage the sites and maintain high standards.
- Development Chef experience desirable
- Ideally some mobilization experience opening new sites and venues
- Create new concepts and implement across the estate of 3 sites and multiple retail outlets
- An experienced creative approach to developing a catering service, specifically in accordance with new food concepts, seasonal and food trends.
- Knowledge of latest catering trends especially those within the Higher Education sector
- Knowledge on what motivates and inspires a kitchen team to perform efficiently and effectively
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills, in order to deal with a range of operational matters within given deadlines.
- Financially astute
- Motivator
- Someone who is looking to make a stand as a senior member of the management team.
- Mainly Monday to Friday ( with rare odd weekend )
- 36.5 hours per week
