Job Description

The Development Coach will deliver apprenticeships or qualifications virtually across leadership and management topics up to Level 7, following Raise the Bar's best practice to ensure this is transformational and inspiring. The Development Coach will ensure compliance with DfE funding regulations whilst guiding our efforts towards industry best practices by undertaking audit and inspection based work tasks alongside proactive industry research. The post holder will also offer administrative support and assistance to the wider team where and when required.

Responsibilities

The Development Coach will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:

Delivering Leadership & Management and Coaching apprenticeships up to Level 6 Assess and support learners throughout their apprenticeship programme, including through EPA. Effectively managing an allocated caseload of up to 45 learners across multiple clients. Providing tailored and appropriate coaching methods to support individual learners including those with additional learning support requirements. Where required, provide learners with Functional Skills support and guidance. Organise and complete remote learner sessions and reviews. Observe learners virtually to help gather high quality evidence towards their Apprenticeship. Supporting with Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities as and when required. Playing an active role in peer-to-peer moderation and observation to ensure standardisation across the coaching team. Monitor learner's attendance and Off the Job hours (OTJ) to ensure expectations and requirements are met and on target. Monitor, organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress, including the impact in the workplace, to ensure effective learning and compliance with audit requirements. Engage with and competently use Automation and AI tools in line with Raise the Bar's expectations and policies. Support and oversee learner use of AI and ensure it is aligned to expectations and policy. Engaging with learners, and learner data, with safeguarding responsibilities front on mind at all times; ensuring professional boundaries are maintained and an early escalation of any concerns or support needs. Compliance to data protection policies and procedures when engaging with learners and learner data. Any other ad hoc duties and reasonable requests in line with business needs and the skill level of the post holder.

Experience & Knowledge



The Development Coach will be required to have the following experience, knowledge and qualifications: Hold a Recognised Leadership and Management Qualification - Level 5 - Essential Level 6/7 - Desirable Experience delivering Legacy Management Apprenticeship standards Level 3 and Level 5 - 2 years - Essential Experience delivering Trailblazer Leadership and Management Standards Level 3 and Level 5 - Up to 1 year - Desirable Recognised Coaching Qualification - Level 5 - Desirable Experience delivering Coaching Level 5 Apprenticeship standards -2 years -Desirable Teaching Qualifications - Level 3 - Essential Functional Skills Qualifications - Level 2 - Essential Recognised Assessor award - D32/D33, A1 or TAQA - Essential Experience of supporting learners through EPA including knowledge of the full gateway experience - 2 years - Essential Experience providing functional skills support for learners up to Level 2 - 2 years Essential Experience held in a management position within industry - 3 years - Essential Experience of Safeguarding procedures and regulations - 2 years - Essential
