We're looking for an individual to join our Development Team to support the delivery of Harewood House Trust's fundraising strategy, This important work will enable us to achieve revenue and capital fundraising targets to deliver our strategic objectives. It is our mission to protect and enhance this amazing place for the benefit of everyone and this role will play a central part in securing funding to make this vision a reality.
To support the Head of Development in the delivery of the Trust's fundraising strategy, including raising funds for capital projects. Your work will enable HHT to achieve its revenue and capital fundraising targets, and to deliver its strategic and Masterplan objectives. You will work with the Head of Development, Senior Leadership Team and senior stakeholders to build relationships with funders and supporters, establish new partnerships and help the Trust to achieve its vision to Reimagine Harewood.
As part of a relatively new fundraising team, the post holder will support the Head of Development in creating an ambitious and sustainable plan to develop our relationship with individual donors, patrons, corporate partners, Trusts & Foundations and public bodies. You will be involved in all areas of relationship management and fundraising, including research and department administration to achieve an ambitious annual target.
The post holder will be researching and identifying new supporters, drafting written applications to trusts and meeting their reporting requirements, developing new sponsorship and partnership agreements, promoting donations on-site and online, as well as helping to provide an excellent service to all stakeholders with the associated administration support.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research
Identify potential sources of funding across corporate, individual and charitable trusts and foundations
Draft tailored written proposals and presentations for support, both philanthropic and commercial
Provide research briefings for existing and potential individual supporters to assist in the development of our Patrons Scheme and our master stakeholder pipeline
Supporter Stewardship
Work closely with the Marketing and Visitor Experience Teams to ensure that charitable messaging is prominent and consistent on-site and on line and that staff and volunteers are trained and equipped to be fundraising champions when dealing with visitors and donors.
Work with colleague across the teams to manage the build up and design of a programme of engagement and stewardship events for donors, Patrons and corporate partners, including dinners, talks and tours as part of the delivery of supporter benefits or donor cultivation.
Work closely with the Marketing, Public Engagement and Events teams to ensure that donor engagement is maintained to a level which exceeds expectations.
Represent Harewood House Trust and host supporters (some evening and weekend working may be required).
Administration
Work with colleagues across the organisation to administer the delivery of contractual benefits to all supporters and funding partners, which includes ensuring appropriate accreditation in print and online, delivery of complimentary ticket allocations, onsite branding, invitations and other benefits
Support the delivery of targeted new donor / sponsor programmes, identifying and creating data segments and messaging
Work with the Marketing and Visitor Experience teams to monitor on-site and online donations and assess trends
Work with the Finance team to oversee the administration of invoicing and contract payment delivery
Support diary management for the Head of Development and co-ordinate fundraising meetings which require involvement of the wider senior team
Support with budget management (purchase orders and processing invoices) for the Development team budget
Work with colleagues across the organisation to gather data and draft reports to funders and supporters
Ensure the Trust is fully compliant with all regulations including data protection legislation and the Fundraising Code of Practice
