\xe2\x80\x8bTGRC has partnered with a leading utility solar and BESS developer who is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Development Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the progression of renewable energy projects from origination through development. Your expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and industry knowledge will be instrumental in driving their success of our renewable energy initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, to ensure successful project execution.

Conduct feasibility studies and market assessments to identify potential renewable energy project opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as government authorities, landowners, utilities, community groups, and regulatory agencies.

Conduct effective negotiations and facilitate agreements with stakeholders to secure necessary permits, land rights, and other project requirements.

Represent the company in meetings, public forums, and industry events to promote project development initiatives and foster positive relationships.

Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of project sites suitable for renewable energy development, considering factors like resource availability, land access, and environmental impact.

Oversee the preparation and submission of project applications, permits, and licenses required for development and construction.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure efficient and timely execution of project milestones.

Identify and assess potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor project progress, track performance against established metrics, and implement -corrective actions as needed.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the project development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Coordinate internal and external resources, including consultants, contractors, and vendors, to achieve project goals.

Facilitate effective communication and information sharing among team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field.

Will ideally come from a planning, technical/engineering, development, or consultancy background and have 2-5 years of project management experience in the power or renewable energy sector.

A high level of motivation and a friendly manner to enable effective and positive engagement with colleagues, and key stakeholders.

The ability to work proactively and within a team.

A flexible approach to work to be undertaken.
