Job Description
Locomotive Services Group are currently looking to recruit a Diesel Locomotive Engineer to join our expanding organisation. Existing knowledge of heritage diesel locomotives is an essential requirement for these roles. Candidates must be enthusiastic and highly motivated. The role will involve mechanical fitting and electrical work in all aspects of Diesel Locomotive maintenance. In return we offer an exciting position supporting our group's main line railway operations.
Key Responsibilities
Day to day execution of routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to our growing fleet of diesel locomotives, including Classes 20, 37,47 and 57.
Supporting operational service delivery of charter and other services to support wider rail group activities.
Key Skills
Time served engineer with relevant post qualifying experience of diesel locomotive engineering
Dual role capability (preferred but not essential)
Medically fit with either existing or ability to obtain Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification
Proven team working ability
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 36,448.00-43,501.00 per year
