As our Generator Engineer, you'll play a crucial role:

Servicing, repairing, and maintaining standby diesel generators predominantly across Hampshire and the South Coast Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues with confidence Performing load bank testing, fuel testing, and polishing procedures Conducting site surveys and inspections of generators and associated equipment Assisting in installation and commissioning of standby power equipment Sharing your expertise through job reports and mentoring apprentices
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

A recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship or level 3 qualification in a relevant field or proven demonstrable experience as a field service diesel generator engineer in a similar role 18th edition Electrical Installations BS7671 certification Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain police vetting are essential ECS/CSCS Card Experience in UPS equipment maintenance would be a plus Bonus points for familiarity with high voltage systems!
