Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our busy Ambulance Station. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines
- Diagnose mechanical issues and repair diesel engines
- Use schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Conduct equipment repairs as needed
- Assemble and disassemble engine components
- Operate power tools for repairs
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Proficiency in welding and soldering techniques
- Familiarity with forklift operation
- Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and related equipment
- Experience in using power tools for repairs
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics
- Previous experience in equipment repair is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
