qualified, hands-on mechanic
with a passion for diagnostics, performance, and modern automotive technology. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of cars and vans and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for problem-solving and technical expertise to contribute to the smooth running of our operations.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software
Perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance on mechanical components
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is desirable
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams with ease
Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Valid UK driving licence is
You must have your own tools
