Mon - Fri - Start from 8am onwards, finish 5.30pm at the latest

23.82 per hour

Responsibilities of this job role:



Provide a dietetic service and give nutritional advice to adult and paediatric patients, with a range of conditions, in the primary care setting. This includes the assessment and treatment of patients and working as an integral member of the MDT to provide a flexible, prioritised service based on clinical need.

Be an integral member of the team sharing the caseload for home enterally fed patients both in the clinic setting and conducting home visits for patients in their own homes/nursing homes.

Set up and lead specific patient caseload groups to facilitate and educate in key aspects of clinical nutrition as required.

Design individual client-centred treatment plans. This will involve nutritional assessment and calculation of nutritional requirements based on the interpretation of biochemistry, anthropometry, clinical condition and diet history.

Negotiate on-going dietary adjustments with patients based upon the patient's agenda, biochemistry, metabolic status, clinical condition and priorities.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:



HCPC registered.

BSc (Hons) Nutrition / Dietetics degree or post graduate diploma or equivalent.

Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.

Ideally looking for someone on a F-T basis or minimum 3 days per week, remote working is also an option.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of



Relevant Qualifications Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
