Key ResponsibilitiesClients (Success & Relationship Growth)



Strategy & campaign leadership:

Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing that grows brand visibility and drives customer acquisition for client accounts.

Budgeting & resource allocation:

Set, manage and optimise budgets; deploy internal and external resources to maximise impact and margin.

Data-driven performance & reporting:

Use analytics to inform decisions and ongoing optimisation; produce clear, actionable reports and present recommendations.

Cross-team collaboration:

Work closely with Creative, Content, Web, SEO and PPC to ensure activity aligns with client and business objectives

Continuous professional development:

Proactively upskill through training and certifications, sharing best practice with the team. Build strong, long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and results. Lead onboarding, check-ins, and review meetings to a consistent standard. Identify opportunities to extend services and strengthen client partnerships. Escalate risks early and manage challenging conversations confidently. Represent the client voice within Planit Scotland, ensuring their priorities are understood across the team.

Service (Consistency, Standards, and Value)



Implement and maintain a best-practice model for client management. Deliver structured reviews and reports for all clients. Translate client requirements into clear briefs for the delivery team. Track client KPIs and results, producing insights and recommendations. Monitor budgets and profitability across accounts, escalating risks where needed. Work with Operations Lead to ensure hours are planned, managed, and within scope.

Team (Collaboration & Future Growth)



Work with the Strategic & Creative Lead to embed strategy into client plans. Collaborate with the Operations Lead on resourcing, reporting, and performance. Share client insights with the wider team to improve delivery and consistency. As the business grows, play a key role in shaping and mentoring future Account Managers, with progression to Head of Client Success.

Ways of Working (Systems, Culture, Growth)



Develop and maintain client playbooks, call structures, and reporting templates. Provide client insights to the leadership team to support business decisions. Champion Planit Scotland's values in every client and team interaction. Stay up to date with tools and innovations, including AI, that can improve results and efficiency.

Key Expertise Required



6+ years in Marketing Management:

Proven experience in account management or client success within a marketing/creative agency. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Highly organised and able to manage multiple clients simultaneously. Strong understanding of the full marketing mix (digital, brand, PR, events, web, SEO, content, ads). Awareness of new tools and innovations, including AI, and how they can create client value. Confident in project management and reporting tools - including

Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Drive

, and

CMS's.

Commercially aware -- able to manage budgets, retainers, and profitability. Comfortable leading conversations around scope, hours, and growth opportunities.

Not Responsible For



Day-to-day campaign delivery (handled by Specialists). Operations and scheduling (Operations Lead). Line management of team members (until the role grows into leadership).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
