Job Overview
We are looking for a hands on Paid Media Manager with a strong specialism in Paid Search and Paid Social. This is an agency role for someone who is confident owning performance activity end to end across multiple clients.
You will be responsible for planning, building, optimising and scaling paid media campaigns, using GA4 and platform data to identify opportunities, solve problems quickly and drive measurable growth for our clients. This role requires a strong existing skill set, as you will be expected to bring paid media expertise into the agency rather than be trained into it.
Alongside paid media, you will apply a solid understanding of SEO and website optimisation to support campaign performance and improve conversion from paid traffic.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and optimising Paid Social campaigns
across platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn, including audience strategy, retargeting, creative testing and full funnel performance improvements
Owning paid media strategy
for assigned clients, ensuring activity aligns with commercial objectives and wider digital strategy
Using GA4
confidently to analyse performance
, understand user behaviour, diagnose issues and surface clear insights and recommendations
Building and running structured tests
and learn programmes across channels, including ads, audiences, bidding strategies, creative and landing pages, documenting learnings and scaling what works
Proactively identifying performance issues
such as tracking gaps, creative fatigue, auction changes, budget constraints or landing page issues, and implementing practical solutions quickly
Creating clear, actionable reporting
for clients and internal stakeholders, focused on insights, recommendations and next steps rather than vanity metrics
Applying SEO
and website optimisation knowledge
to support paid campaigns, improve landing page performance and inform wider digital strategy
Collaborating with internal teams
including account management, creative and web to deliver joined up, high performing digital campaigns
What we're looking for - Skills & Qualifications

Strong, demonstrable experience in a Paid Search led performance role, with Google Ads experience essential and Microsoft Ads desirable
Very good working capability in Paid Social, including hands on campaign management and optimisation
Confident use of GA4 for analysis, performance diagnosis and reporting
Experience working in an agency or managing multiple accounts or clients
Solid understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation
A problem solving mindset, able to interpret data, isolate causes and take decisive action
Comfortable in a hands on role, owning both strategy and execution
Strong attention to detail when managing budgets, pacing and performance reporting
Desirable
Knowledge of tracking and tagging best practice, including UTMs and conversion tracking, with GTM experience a bonus
Experience working closely with web or CRO teams to improve on site conversion from paid traffic
Experience across a range of industries or business models
Benefits

Hybrid working model
Company pension scheme
Company events and socials

Opportunity for company-funded training in recognised marketing qualifications (e.g. MCIM) after 12 months of employment
