Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor

to join our team based in

Cheadle, Greater Manchester.

The role will be worked on afull time schedule. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role.


Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.


As Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor, the successful candidate will play an integral role in contributing and administering an efficient DAM (Digital Asset officer) system for the Communications department in line with marketing strategy. To manage and upload marketing assets to DAM system, analyses and archives data, and coach and manage DAM system account users. The post holder will also undertake filming and editing duties as required, which will include working with internal departments such as Fundraising and People & Culture, as well as travel to the field to film for case studies, campaigns and marketing material. All in order to help produce manage strong marketing material to meet the evolving needs of the communications department and the charity as a whole, and drive revenue for the charity. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of the

Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor

:




Successfully;


Maintains DAM system and uploads marketing assets in an accurate and timely fashion. Ensures creation of new users accounts for the DAM system and coaches employees on how to utilize it. Creates synopsis for collateral, vetting, distributing, meta-tagging, archiving, and analyzing data. Produce and edit video content suitable for publication across multiple channels. Ensure videos have a lasting impact in order to boost engagement and support donation targets, keeping with HAs goals and values.

Education:

Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, such as Film & Post production, Media, computer science, marketing or business or equivalent experience

Experience

: 1-2 years relevant experience including project management involving digital content collections.

Skills

: + Familiar with DAM systems,
+ Competent with MS Office suite,
+ Competent with Adobe creative suite,
+ Understanding of databases,
+ Working knowledge of digital content formats and standards.
+ Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials. Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. Protecting an entire community from being washed away, the embankment has held back the floods each year, including Pakistans worst flooding in a decade during its last monsoon season.
