About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Construction Coordinator to join our growing team in Scotland.
As a Digital Project Delivery Coordinator you will support the Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement in delivery of the Project Digital Strategy, BIM 360 / ACC, T1 Controls, Site Assist, Power BI, Openspace and AI tools for the Regional Scottish Business.
What you'll be doing

• Support the Head of Continuous Improvement to educate people, implement Group Digital Minimum Standards and use technology during project delivery.

• Support with the educating the project team and supply chain members for the use and development of the Project Digital Tools including but not exclusively - BIM 360 / ACC, T1 Controls, Site Assist, Power BI, Openspace and AI tools including co-pilot.

• Support the Project team to implement processes/culture/technology so:

- It can be used during project delivery and aid in reviewing potential conflicts. Work with the team in resolving the issues
- Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile tech is facilitated

• Before construction commences mobilisation, engage with the project team to implement people/processes/culture/technology which can be used during the Construction phase and limit/mitigate potential conflicts before site execution gate stage

• Research, develop, implement, review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm Collate data for senior management review

• Provide on-going internal training / technical orientation to new staff / external training

• Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Core behaviours

• Promote Balfour Beatty to its Customers and business partners

• Facilitate the process of the Digital Coordination between project participants

Who we're looking for

• 2-3 years industry previous experience in a similar role or industry experiance

• Support the Regional Business in delivery of Project Digital Tools including- BIM 360 / ACC, T1 Controls, Site Assist, Power BI, Openspace and AI tools including co-pilot.

• Deliver training and support for Projects and supply chain

• Working knowledge of project CDE environment

• Identifying the basic requirements and main deliverables expected from BIM tools and workflows

• Knowledge of BMS systems and delivering business KPIs
