Woodhouse Park Activity Centre is a Scout activity centre and campsite located to the North of Bristol, operated by Avon Scouts. We are dedicated to providing adventurous activities, camping, and residential experiences for Scouts, Girlguiding, youth groups, and schools, fostering personal growth and teamwork in a fun environment.

Summary

We are seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to join our team at Woodhouse Park Activity Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing engaging digital content that promotes our activities and enhances our online presence. Your contributions will play a vital role in attracting youth groups and ensuring memorable experiences at our centre.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our mission and engages our audience. Create compelling written content for our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials. Manage the content calendar to ensure timely updates across all digital channels. Utilize WordPress for website updates and maintenance of online content. Analyze engagement metrics to optimize content performance and reach. Collaborate with team members to gather insights and stories that highlight the impact of our programs.

Requirements

Proficient in English with excellent writing and copywriting skills. Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems. Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with Excel for tracking projects and analyzing data is a plus. Previous experience in project management or leadership roles is advantageous.
