This role provides vital support to the Fisheries & Marine team, ensuring the smooth running of team operations, workflow processes, quality assurance, and maritime coordination. Working closely with the Head of Fisheries & Marine, this position combines executive assistant duties with project coordination to enable the team to deliver excellent service to clients and stakeholders.

About the Role



As Blackhall & Powis and its partner businesses continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic Digital Content & Communications Coordinator to join our Communications team. This is more than a content role--it's a chance to shape how we tell our story, engage our people, and elevate our brand across platforms and markets.

You'll be the creative force behind our digital presence, internal messaging, and bid support--bringing consistency, clarity, and flair to everything we share. From social media to staff updates, you'll help us communicate with purpose and personality.

What You'll Do



Plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media and our website Draft and edit internal communications that reflect our tone and culture Support the design and delivery of compelling bid documents and presentations Track performance metrics and share insights to improve our impact Maintain brand consistency across all digital and print materials Collaborate with teams across the group to ensure timely, accurate messaging Stay ahead of digital trends and suggest fresh ideas and formats

What You'll Bring



Experience in social media, internal comms, or digital marketing Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for tone and audience Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint) Confidence using CMS platforms like WordPress or SharePoint Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects A curious mindset and passion for storytelling A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for shaping workplace culture
