The salary advertised is based on a full time basis but we are open to discussing a range of working options, including full-time, part-time, graduate position.

Job description:



We are looking for an enthusiastic person to create and deliver engaging and innovative film and photographic content for Beaulieu Enterprises and the National Motor Museum Trust, with a strong focus on digital platforms including social media and YouTube. This role requires hands-on experience in both professional videography and mobile content creation, with the ability to capture high-quality footage in a variety of formats. The successful candidate will be skilled in editing and re-purposing video content tailored to suit different channels.

Background:



The Marketing Department is responsible for the marketing and public relations of the Beaulieu Estate with its attractions, Beaulieu, Buckler's Hard and the Beaulieu River. In addition, the department is responsible for supporting with events and the exploration of wider business opportunities.

The department comprises of the Marketing & PR, Distribution and Print & Graphics staff.

Main Duties:



Capture and produce high-quality, creative video and photographic content to support the digital marketing strategies of the Beaulieu attraction, Beaulieu Events, Buckler's Hard, Beaulieu River and the Beaulieu Estate.

Support the National Motor Museum Trust by producing content that brings the story of motoring to life in innovative and accessible ways.

Attend and capture content at key Beaulieu events throughout the year, producing engaging digital assets for use across social media, YouTube, web and other digital channels. Regular weekend work will be required. In return, time will be given off in lieu.

Respond quickly to ad hoc and reactive content opportunities on-site, including seasonal activities and events.

With support from the Marketing Executives, create engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring alignment with current digital trends and audience preferences.

Produce a mix of content formats, from high-end professional video using a video camera to quick authentic mobile footage suitable for social media.

The ability and confidence to operate a drone to capture aerial photography and video (training and equipment will be provided if necessary).

To support with photography as and when required.

To manage and champion the film and photo library, ensuring all content is downloaded, reviewed and stored correctly.

Person Specification



Qualifications

Relevant qualification in film production, media, photography or a related field - Essential

A UK Driving Licence (Beaulieu is a remote location with limited access to public transport) - Essential

Drone CAA Licence - Training will be provided if not. - Desirable

Experience

Proven experience in filming and editing professional quality video content - Essential

Experience creating content for digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook - Essential

Proficient using video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) - Essential

Experience using a DSLR or mirrorless camera for photography. - Essential

Experience in event coverage, including capturing live content. - Desirable

Experience working for a heritage or visitor attraction. - Desirable*

Skills & Knowledge



A creative mind with an eye for producing engaging content.- Essential

To be able to work independently, make decisions based on briefs provided from the wider team and to be confident speaking to members of the public. - Essential

A clear understanding of social media and how content is delivered on these platforms. - Essential

Understanding of YouTube content creation, optimisation and formatting - Essential

Ability to plan, shoot and edit content to tight deadlines - Essential

Strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Essential

A genuine interest in heritage, motoring history, events and visitor engagement - Desirable

Storytelling skills with an eye for creating engaging and informative content.- Desirable
