Job Summary

Gillingham Football Club is hiring a Digital Content Creator to produce, publish, and strategize engaging written, visual, and multimedia content across various online platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.

Responsibilities

Oversee all GFC's social media accounts, including the creation, scheduling and posting of engaging content that entertains; collaboration with other departments in terms of the club's social media output; and continual, active engagement with our online community Monitor social media trends to maximise engagement Work with Head of Media, Press & Communications to create a working Content Plan Capture/edit short form videos Support the Media & Communications, Commercial, and Events Departments with digital content and to engage in brainstorming ideas to that end, while ensuring consistent messaging and brand awareness Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility (SEO) Use analytics tools to track content performance and make data-driven adjustments Assist in the creation of GFC's overall media and marketing content and strategy

Personal Specification

Digital content experience in a professional environment required Filming and editing expertise required Self-starter who can produce creative, entertaining content Graphic design proficiency Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, basic Microsoft packages and video editing tools Strong understanding of various social media platforms (specifically Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) Team player who liaises easily with various GFC departments Exceptional writing, communication and proofreading skills Capable of efficiently working on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to pivot, prioritise and meet deadlines in an ever-changing work environment Willing to work unsociable hours to cover matchdays and, if required, any events Access to own transport essential

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
