Yeovil Town FC is seeking a dedicated and creative
Part-Time Social Media Manager
to support the club's digital output and online presence. Working
under the Commercial & Communications Lead
, you will play a key role in shaping how fans experience the club across all social media platforms.
This role includes
hybrid/remote work
during the week and attendance at
Thursday press days at SGS College, Bristol
, as well as all home and away fixtures.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Commercial & Communications Lead with the day-to-day management of all club social media channels
Attend
Thursday press days at SGS Bristol
to capture interview content, media updates, and behind-the-scenes material
Attend
all home and away matches
to provide:
Live match updates
Matchday graphics and visuals
Post-match reports, reaction content, and interviews
Create engaging graphics using
Adobe Photoshop
Produce short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Draft compelling written content including match previews, reports, announcements, and features
Plan and schedule weekly content across all platforms
Assist with club marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and website updates
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in
Adobe Photoshop
Confident delivering
fast, accurate live updates
during matches
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Understanding of football culture, matchday timelines, and fan engagement
Ability to travel to
all fixtures
and attend
Thursday media sessions
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setup
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Desirable
Video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.)
Photography or videography experience
Prior experience in football communications or sports media
A relevant degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field -
beneficial but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Hours & Compensation
Part-time role with flexible hours around matchdays and weekly media commitments
Hours and remuneration to be discussed with shortlisted applicants
Rate dependent on experience
