Digital Content Marketing Assistant

Following a period of rapid expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to get involved in our social, email and digital marketing. Due to our continued growth in the UK as well as the US and other international countries, we are looking for someone who is ready to immerse themselves in the business and support our growth. Proven experience working in digital marketing is essential. The role is based in our highland Perthshire office with no remote working available.

Key Responsibilities



Scheduling and posting all content on social media (instagram, facebook and occasionally LinkdIn)

planning out all social content 2-3 weeks in advance via Later and Meta

image editing

video editing

writing copy

engaging daily with customers / followers / influencers

completing monthly social stats

reviewing all of the above + sign off with content manager

Working alongside content manager to upload, update and maintain various UK+US web content (blogs, collections, category pages, info pages, recruitment, competitions - any design based web pages)

Helping with content creation and ideas via the marketing / content calendar - this involves working alongside wider content team so all workstreams align

Coordinate and assist with in house photographers on a regular basis

planning out any content that needs to be shot for social / emails / web

liasing with buyers regarding products that need to be featured

liasing with warehouse to pick the products + be sent to photography

liasing with other areas of the business where necessary (graphic design team, foodhall etc)

assisting on the day if necessary

Coordinate and assist with influencer + brand photo shoots - potentially

Creating a moodboard via Photoshop to show Creative Director the plan

Choosing location / theme / outfits

assisting on the day

Email Marketing - ad hoc work helping to create marketing emails using Adestra in peak seasons or to cover holidays etc

producing weekly marketing emails

assisting with creation and maintenance of triggered / automated email journeys

assisting with written content and coordination of images for campaigns and stories.

Essential skills



Proficient with Canva (or another similar editing tool) and Photoshop

Experience managing social media accounts (instagram, facebook) or proven experience in content creation

Experience with any video editing software would be a bonus (premier pro)

Experience with creating marketing emails

Self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Good at coordinating with a wide range of colleagues with excellent social skills to develop relationships with internal + external contacts

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong organizational and time management skills

Methodical and organised
