Digital Learning and Technical Support Manager

to lead the digital transformation of our learning and development strategy.




What You Will Do:





As Digital Learning and Technical Support Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of our digital learning strategy. You'll manage our Learning Management System (LMS), support the creation of engaging digital content, and ensure our learning technologies are optimised for performance and accessibility. Key will be your ability to leverage the continuing changes in digital technology to maximise the learning experience and outcomes.




Develop and implement the GTS Academy digital learning and technical strategy. Lead the development of the technical roadmap for GTS Academy, considering how we use existing systems and technology effectively and identifying possibilities for future enhancement in line with emerging technologies Manage the LSM to ensure effective processes implemented including course bookings and reporting. Aiming for consistency and automation where possible Utilisation of the LMS to develop visible career pathways and learning journeys for operational and management role, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and user-friendly. Support the review and redevelopment of Operational Cohort Induction training by providing expert advice on the redesign of content to become a blended structure. Able to successfully translate face to face content to digital including (e-learning, video, AI-enhanced tools). Designing and delivering relevant digital content for induction training and mandatory training Ensure that there is a regular scan of the external environment for digital learning and developing, introducing best practice where this fits with our digital strategy Oversee policies, processes, and reporting across learning, development, and engagement. Supporting the GTS Academy assistant and managers with the planning and scheduling of training activities and trainer resources. Supporting the management of external training providers and oversee course bookings and contracts. Track budgets, raise purchase orders, and ensure supplier compliance. Line manages the GTS Academy Support Assistant. Step in during disruption to support customer-facing colleagues as part of the step-in programme.



What We Are Looking For:





We're seeking a digital learning expert with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. You'll be passionate about innovation in learning and confident in leading technical systems and digital content development.




CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (or equivalent). Qualifications in digital learning development, with a strong track record of maximising emerging digital technologies. Extensive experience in L&D and digital learning transformation. Skilled in developing blended learning and using AI in training. Strong project management and budget oversight experience. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience managing LMS platforms and reporting tools. Ability to lead change, drive innovation, and support continuous improvement.
