The Centre of Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) work closely with academic staff to support professional development, pedagogical innovation, and curriculum enhancement. The centre provides guidance and resources for the effective use of digital tools and platforms in teaching, learning, and assessment.
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Learning Developer to join the excellent SRUC team at the Centre of Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT).
The successful post-holders will work closely with the Digital Learning Lead to support and deliver SRUC's vision of being the leading national provider of digitally enhanced education. This role is pivotal in enhancing learning and teaching practices through the effective integration of digital technologies.
Key Requirements of the role:
Enhancement of Learning and Teaching:
Support the continual improvement of learning and teaching practices by guiding staff in the use of digital tools and pedagogies, with a focus on active and blended learning.
Staff Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide day-to-day advice and technical support to academic staff, helping them translate pedagogical goals into effective digital learning experiences.
Content Development:
Design, create, and maintain engaging, inclusive, and accessible digital learning materials that align with SRUC's educational principles and accessibility standards.
Project Delivery:
Lead and contribute to digital enhancement projects that empower staff to adopt innovative teaching approaches and support students in engaging effectively with digital learning environments.
Collaboration and Networking:
Participate in internal and external networks to share best practices, stay informed of emerging trends, and contribute to the ongoing development of SRUC's digital learning strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 10 in a relevant subject and/or have a relevant professional qualification(s) and/or significant relevant experience.
