In this pivotal role, you'll take the lead in designing, developing, and delivering engaging digital learning programmes across the business. From e-learning modules to video content and live recordings, youll be the go-to expert for all things digital learning. Main Responsibilities
:
Work with the L&D business partners to identify digital training needs across the business
Design, create and deliver training programmes to upskill colleagues on a range of software applications (from generic applications like Microsoft Office to specific case management software like Proclaim) to colleagues across our company
Delivery technology training during the welcome for new colleagues and review
Work closely with the Technology and business support teams to plan and implement new technologies, upgrades and projects, taking the lead on training and support documentation
Devise and deliver suitable methods to identify the technology training needs within the company, working with the Technology Service Desk and Business Partners to identify common problems
Create and update all relevant eLearning, videos, scripts, Quick Reference Guides etc.
Maintain the companys Learning Management System, ensuring the L&D team are trained and the platform is used effectively
Monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness of the training and support we offer colleagues, amending our approach and course materials as appropriate
Create digital content to support L&D activities and maintain the L&D Intranet page
Focus on digital content being innovative, inclusive and accessible for all
Essential Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to help colleagues develop their IT skills
Experience of the development and production of detailed IT training materials, including online and video materials, delivered to a wide range of users
Excellent presentation skills, both in-person and online
Experience of advanced use of Microsoft Office 365 specifically Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with the proven ability to share that experience with others
An up-to-date knowledge of current trends and developments in e-learning
Ability to establish and build productive working relationships with external learning providers
Willingness and ability to travel to other company locations (across the North of England) to deliver training and support as required
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Proven IT Training experience gained working alongside a Service Desk function
An IT training qualification such as MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) or equivalent
Experience of legal Case Management systems e.g. Proclaim
