're looking for a driven, detail-obsessed, people-first Account Manager to join our

mission.

Your Mission



As an Account Manager at Social Land, you'll be the heartbeat of client

communication and delivery. You'll oversee marketing strategies for a portfolio of

clients, liaise with our internal teams, and ensure campaigns run smoothly, on time,

and with maximum impact.

You're the bridge between clients and execution -- owning results, building strong

relationships, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES



Client Communication & Reporting



- Act as the main point of contact for a set list of clients

- Hold regular check-ins and email updates to maintain transparency and trust

- Translate complex performance data into simple, confident reporting

- Set expectations with honesty and authority -- no fluff, no jargonTask & Project Management

- Create and assign clear, detailed tasks using internal work submission systems

- Ensure all deliverables go through our sign-off process before being sent to

respective clients

- Track task progress using Asana + EverHour for time management and KPIs

- Prioritise workloads with Team Managers in daily Scrum calls

Strategy, Delivery & Service Oversight

- Understand each client's goals and shape strategies to match

- Be confident across all our services in understanding them and carrying them out

yourself when required (training provided if required):

- Social Media Management

- Email Marketing

- SEO

- Google Ads & Meta Ads

- Graphic Design

- Website Design & Maintenance

- Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with leadership on new scopes

Client Retention & Relationship Building



- Proactively check in with clients before issues arise

- Keep track of tone, expectations and sentiment

- Ensure client retention is as high as possible per quarter

Tools You'll Use (Full Training Provided If Required)



- Asana - Task management, calendar, KPIs, time tracking (via EverHour)

- Google Drive - Client folders, content archives, shared marketing sheets

- WhatsApp & Discord - Communication with POD and internal teams

- ChatGPT - Content drafting, ideation, QA support

- GoHighLevel - Post scheduling and client calendar oversight

- Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics - For client insight and strategy

- Google Search Console, WordPress - Oversight and coordination

- Canva, CapCut - Graphic/Video creationWho You'll Work With

- Clients - Across industries, mostly SME owners and marketing teams

- CEO (Joe Land) - Strategy, growth, upsells, client onboarding

- COO (George Draper) - Ops, onboarding, systems, internal alignment

- Account Managers - collaboration across projects/clients

- Team Managers - Your right-hand for managing deliverables

- Creative Team - Graphic designers, video editors, web devs, and ad specialists

Salary Progression



Starting Salary - 24,000 (without experience) or 28,000 (with experience)

After 12 months - +2,000 if following targets are met:

- Maintain strong client retention

- Show an aptitude for the job role and a passion for the business as a whole

- Demonstrate consistent task management accuracy & on-time delivery

After 24 months - +3,000 to 5,000 if following targets are met:

- Successfully lead multiple accounts end-to-end

- Contribute to system/process improvement

- Mentor new AMs or support in onboarding

- Receive positive feedback from multiple client reviews

*Salary reviews happen annually during PDP reviews, but fast-track reviews are

possible for very high performers.

- Clients feel heard, supported and see results

- Work is consistently delivered on time, to brief, with minimal amends

- Internal comms are efficient, structured, and clear

- You proactively solve problems and flag issues before they escalate

- You help retain and grow client accounts through trust and clarityWhat We're Looking For

- 2+ years in a client-facing marketing, project management or agency role

- Confident communicator (written and verbal) -- professional but human

- Comfortable juggling multiple clients, tasks and deadlines

- Naturally organised with great attention to detail

- Strategic thinker who understands the bigger picture

- A real team player who lives our values

- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads, SEO etc.)
