The Role
This is a hands-on account management role for someone who understands how digital marketing actually works in the real world -- not just in theory.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a mix of industries, acting as their day-to-day marketing lead and trusted advisor. Your focus will be on understanding each client's business, translating their goals into clear marketing activity, and ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
You'll work closely with internal delivery teams, keeping projects moving, clients informed, and outcomes front of mind.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of digital marketing clients
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and their wider teams
Quickly understand each client's business, challenges and opportunities
Recommend appropriate digital marketing strategies and tactics that deliver measurable results
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, without compromising quality
Ensure delivery teams have clear briefs, context and objectives for every piece of work
Maintain excellent service delivery standards across all accounts
Identify opportunities to grow accounts by helping clients in new and valuable ways
Support the creation and coordination of digital marketing content, including social, web, creative, copy and email
Use digital platforms confidently to plan, monitor and optimise campaigns
Be confident reporting on agreed KPIs and presenting results and strategies for improvement
Skills & Experience
You'll have:
Proven experience working in digital marketing, agency-side or in-house
A strong understanding of how digital marketing supports business growth
Excellent customer care and relationship-building skills
The confidence to advise clients and guide decision-making
Strong project management and organisational skills
Experience managing multiple clients or stakeholders at once
A commercial mindset, with the ability to spot growth opportunities
Platform & Tool Experience
Practical, working experience of:
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
Google platforms
TikTok
Analytics for SEO, social media and web
Social media scheduling tools
Email marketing systems (desirable)
Adobe Design Suite / Canva (desirable)
