This is a hands-on role for someone super-confident, creative, organised, and confident using social media, with an interest in PR, content creation, and visitor attractions.
The Role
You'll play a key part in our day-to-day marketing, helping to keep our online presence fresh, engaging, and up to date. Your work will directly support the promotion of events, activities, and on-site sales at the farm.
You'll be overseen by the Marketing Manager, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Running our social media platforms (with oversight from the Marketing Manager)
Creating and scheduling up-to-date, engaging content
Promoting upcoming events, activities, and on-site offers
Responding to messages and comments on social media
Finding new social media ideas and trends for inspiration
PR, Influencers & Online Presence
Finding and inviting influencers to visit the farm
Organising and saving user-generated content (UGC) from influencers
Writing PR pieces for local news outlets
Updating listing websites and online information
Updating website imagery
You will be speaking to people around the frm, asking if its ok fo photos, talking to influencer you have invited so it is essential you are confident in doing so.
Other responsibilities...
Assisting with the design of promotional content and printed materials
Writing blog posts for our "Latest News" page
During busy periods and major events, the role may also support wider farm operations, helping both managers and visitors when needed.*
Essential Skills
Confident using social media platforms, especially
Instagram and Facebook
Strong written communication skills, with good spelling and grammar
Basic content creation skills (photos, short videos, captions)
Good organisation and time management skills
Able to multitask and manage day-to-day admin alongside creative work
Great customer skills, to reply to messages and comments in a friendly, professional way
Desirable (but not essential)
The ability to speak & write in Welsh
Experience using Meta Business Suite
Graphic design skills
(Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience writing blogs, PR pieces, or promotional content
Understanding of influencer marketing and user-generated content (UGC)
A degree in a relevant subject
(e.g. Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, PR)
Interest or experience in events, tourism, hospitality, or visitor attractions
Personal Qualities
Creative and proactive, with a good eye for engaging content
Reliable and well-organised
Approachable and confident communicating with the public
Flexible and happy to help during busy periods and events
Enthusiastic about learning and growing within the role
Marketing experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
You will be interacting with visitors around the farm and speaking directly to influencers you have invited. This includes politely asking for permission to take photos or capture content. It is therefore essential that you are confident, approachable, and comfortable communicating with a wide range of people in person.
Working Hours
One weekend day is essential, and you will be required to work full weekends and extra days during busy event periods. Days off can be rearranged to make up for any additional days worked.
