Do you have an interest in digital marketing and content creation? Are you looking for an exciting new role within a great team?

We are looking for a digital marketer with one or more years of commercial experience to come join our team at Furniture Online.

We're looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude, someone who can hit the ground running, work independently as well as take on team-based tasks.

The role mixes together a blend of disciplines and will give you hands-on exposure to a range of digital marketing activities - particularly marketplaces and social media - therefore experience of working with product listings and platforms such as Facebook and Instagram would be an advantage.

The right candidate will be tasked with a wide variety of digital marketing tasks - largely split between the two main tasks of uploading and maintaining listings across marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon and creating content for and managing our social media presence.

Creating content is a big part of this role and we would like someone equally at home in front as well as behind the camera to make use of our in-house studio. Creativity is a must, so in addition to having photography and videography skills, graphic design skills and Photoshop knowledge would also be a benefit.

To assist you, we have a small marketing team and work closely with a number of freelancers and agencies including models, presenters, graphic designers and videographers.

A keen eye for detail is a must, as is an exceptional understanding of the English language, as maintaining accurate data and proof-reading product descriptions for errors make-up a big part of this job.

As a forward-thinking company we are committed to providing training where required and we are happy to upskill staff where necessary to help fulfil their potential.

We're open to marketing and e-commerce graduates or those with a year's digital marketing experience in one of the aforementioned disciplines - however if you have no experience in these fields then this role is probably not for you as it will require a high level of autonomy from the beginning.

Salary: 26,500 - 28,000 per annum (dependent on experience). 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday, 35.5 hours). 17 days annual leave (increasing with service up to 23 days) plus Bank Holidays.
