Role Overview
Due to the continued growth of online sales, Todd Doors is seeking a detail-driven and organised individual to join our expanding team in Bournemouth. The primary focus of this role is the accurate creation, administration, and ongoing management of products on our website, ensuring product data is optimised, up to date, and presented in a way that enhances the customer journey and supports e-commerce growth.
Working within a small, collaborative team, the role will play a key part in maintaining website content, improving usability, and supporting the wider digital and commercial objectives of the business.
Reporting to - Zak Read (head of marketing)
Skills Required
A methodical and detail-oriented approach to adding, reviewing, and maintaining product information.
Good understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to product pages and on-site content.
Analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to improve content quality and performance.
Proactive attitude with strong organisational, administration, and time-management skills.
Confidence in suggesting improvements to processes, content, and website functionality, and helping to implement them.
Strong Excel skills to an intermediate level, including managing and manipulating product data.
Main Responsibilities
Add, manage, and maintain products on the website, ensuring all product information is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
Manage product data including pricing, specifications, imagery, categorisation, and attributes.
Regularly review and update existing product content to improve clarity, accuracy and user experience.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure product content supports trading and marketing strategies.
Support on-site search optimisation by reviewing performance, analysing usage, and improving product discoverability.
Assist with on-site merchandising, including cross-sell and up-sell initiatives, analysing impact and optimising where possible.
Help optimise website layout, content, and functionality based on user behaviour and performance insights.
Assist in the publication and maintenance of promotional content across the website.
Other Responsibilities
From time to time, support ad hoc projects and tasks as required to meet the needs of the business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30,264.00 per year
