About Us

BUILT is a small team specialising in websites and online marketing for trades professionals, including plumbers, electricians, and similar businesses. We bring digital solutions to a traditionally offline industry, which comes with its challenges but also huge opportunities.

Since 2015, we've built over 1,000 websites and continue to support our clients as they grow. We're currently a team of six and, due to demand, we're ready to bring in additional support.

The role is primarily remote, but we may ask you to join us in person in Birmingham up to once a week.

The Role

This is a full-time position, following a 3-month probation period.

You'll be working on a range of tasks, including:

Speaking with new customers to learn about their business and services Writing content for websites Building websites using our simple in-house system Helping clients establish an online presence through platforms like Google Business Updating websites and content for existing clients Making sure our customers are happy with the service they receive

Who We're Looking For

No web-building experience? No problem. We're more interested in your attitude, personality, and potential.

Key traits we're looking for:

Strong organisational skills - you'll manage your own projects A genuine interest in digital marketing and helping small businesses grow Self-motivation and the ability to pick up new skills independently Clear, confident communication - especially on the phone Excellent writing skills

Desirable (But Not Essential) Skills

Previous customer service experience Confident phone manner in a professional setting

The Application

There's no need for any technical knowledge. We're interested in your ability to think clearly, write well, and assess a website like a customer would.
