We're looking for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join Equiport - one of the UK's leading equestrian retailers and proud runners-up in the Online Retail category at the British Equestrian Trade Awards 2025.
For over 30 years, Equiport has been home to luxury equestrian brands, including Samshield, Cavalleria Toscana, and Kentucky Horsewear, alongside our own bespoke horsewear range. Working across both online and in-store retail, you'll help us to promote the ultimate equestrian shopping experience.
This is a hands-on, creative role where no two days are the same. You'll create engaging social media content, craft compelling emails and help shape the voice of our brand across all platforms - making Equiport the go-to destination for riders who love style, quality and individuality.
You will be an equine enthusiast, with plenty of background knowledge and experience to bring to the role, although training and information will be provided on our current and new products.
You'll also be a social media aficionado and able to navigate your way around Instagram, Facebook and TikTok with ease. With a love for beautiful imagery, you'll use media supplied by our brands, and also create your own for a unique insight into our product range.
Key responsibilities:
Be the voice of Equiport on social media - planning, creating and posting engaging content and adverts, responding to followers and growing an enthusiastic online community.
Create exciting marketing emails in Klaviyo to promote new products, brand launches and seasonal features.
Keep our customer marketing database organised and up to date.
Format and edit product and lifestyle images for use on our website and social channels.
Write inspiring blog content, including buyer's guides and feature articles on the latest arrivals.
Design eye-catching website banners and artwork for both digital and print campaigns.
Understand our customers - their lifestyle, needs and passions - and create content they can't resist.
Work with our partner brands to source imagery, product details and launch materials.
Keep an eye on equestrian trends, social media formats and new content ideas to keep us ahead of the curve.
Track engagement and campaign performance to help shape future strategies.
Collaborate with the e-commerce manager to ensure consistency, accuracy and an exceptional customer experience.
Skills and experience:
Marketing experience or a relevant qualification.
Strong equestrian knowledge and genuine passion for the industry.
Confident using Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, with an eye for what performs well.
Creative flair for photography, videography and written content.
Skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is a bonus.
Understanding of SEO principles is an advantage.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and excellent proof-reading skills.
A team player who's just as happy working independently.
Positive, proactive and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
