Born from a love of dinghy sailing, Rooster was founded in 1999 by Steve Cockerill with a simple mission, to make high quality, accessible sailing gear for everyone.
What began as a personal project in a spare room has grown into a trusted technical clothing brand supporting sailors and watersports enthusiasts across the world. While sailing remains at our heart, Rooster gear is designed for versatility across the water, from paddleboarding and kayaking to foiling and beyond, adapting to changing conditions all year round.
We are a small team of passionate sailors and watersports enthusiasts who design, test and wear our kit ourselves. We are not here for trends, we are here to make kit that works, lasts and performs when you need it most.
Role Overview
We're looking for a commercially minded and highly creative Digital Marketing & Content Creator to join our marketing team and help shape how Rooster is seen, experienced and understood across all our digital and brand-facing channels.
This is a hands-on, creative role with real responsibility. You'll be at the heart of our content output -- creating, managing and delivering digital content, design assets and social media activity that brings our products, campaigns and brand stories to life.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Creative, you'll translate strategy into compelling, on-brand content that connects with our audience and reflects what Rooster stands for: performance, authenticity and life on the water.
As part of a small, agile team, this role suits someone who is naturally proactive, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership of their work. You'll be trusted to manage your workload, contribute ideas, and deliver consistently high-quality output, while staying grounded in commercial goals and a customer-first mindset.
If you love watersports, thrive in a creative environment, and want to make a tangible impact within a growing performance brand, this role offers a rare opportunity to do just that.
