Marketing Executive & Content Creator - Maternity Cover

25,000 a year + 1000 Bonus - full time - remote/in-person hybrid

About the Role:

This role will see the candidate working on marketing & content creation activities across a few different businesses, with most of work being completed from home, and occasional meetings & days in the office where needed. This is maternity cover of 1 year with the potential to carry on afterwards in some capacity.

The majority of time each week will be spent with three South West hospitality businesses; The Valley (a 5Gold luxury holiday village in Cornwall), and Select Cornwall (an online holiday letting agency for properties across Cornwall), and Mill End Hotel (a luxury, dog friendly boutique hotel in Dartmoor, Devon), coming up with campaigns and content ideas to help improve the companies' reach and move them forward in the market. Typical activities will include creating blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, and various PR tasks.

Qualifications:

Specific qualifications are not required but content creation experience is vital as well as a genuine passion and interest in marketing. Needs to be based in Cornwall/Devon so they can easily go out getting content

Responsibilities:

Executing and revising various marketing strategies to work towards business growth goals Bringing forward ideas for campaigns and content Writing press releases and liaising with media for PR Researching, writing & uploading blog content Taking photos & creating video content for different platforms Creating, scheduling and engaging on posts, Stories & Reels on Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest Creating & sending regular email newsletters using Flodesk (training for this software will be provided) Repurposing content from blogs & video content to social media Managing tasks and reporting via a project management system

The ideal candidate will:

Have an excellent eye for photography & design, with previous experience using Canva Have experience in social media marketing, with Instagram in particular (Pinterest and TikTok would be a bonus but not essential) Have excellent English and communication/copywriting abilities with experience writing blog or social content Be able to use own initiative and work independently, staying organised & motivated when working from home Be passionate and keen interest in marketing and content creation and proactively offer ideas Word press experience would be fantastic Previous Facebook ad's experience would be preferable
