We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to lead and elevate Hastings Hotels' digital presence.


Under the inspiring leadership of our Head of Marketing, Matt Roberts, you will develop and implement insight-focussed strategies to grow our digital platforms, guest engagement and deliver exciting content that tells the Hastings story in a multi-tone approach.


This is a key role within the team to maximise platform efficiency and success to deliver best-in-class output. The Digital Marketing Executive also oversees the processes and strategy for all content initiatives. The successful candidate will implement a data-first approach using analytics tools to inform decisions and optimise posting and targeted advertising based on audience behaviour. Exceptional organisational skills are required to own the day-to-day planning and publishing operations of social media and email channels. They will have an excellent understanding of social media best practices, channel optimisation, and current trends.


You can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), Monday to Friday.


Typical shift patterns are 9am to 5pm.


The salary for this full-time position starts from 30,000

About The Role



Working with the Head of Marketing to ensure successful delivery of the group's marketing plans Managing and leading all Hastings Hotels social media channels Design, publish and write copy for all social media posts Developing and updating content calendars for social media in line with commercial plans Track performance, analyse data and form actionable insights to optimise content Monthly budget management for paid social advertising Develop paid social media strategy to enhance business results Adhere to the company's tone of voice and brand guidelines Leading the organisation's photography & videography shoots Updating the group's internal branding portal Creating short form video content Managing email campaigns across the group Develop and update content plans for email campaigns Copywriting for blogs Managing and updating listings on third party sites Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to plan and develop engaging content to meet business and brand objectives Work with all departments to help support marketing/social media requirements Managing and updating content for the group's websites Stay up to date with the latest industry/platform trends

About You:



Skilled in Canva and Adobe Suite Keeps up with new trends to engage with audiences Work in a fast-paced environment Familiar with web design Familiar with Google Analytics

Required Criteria



Honours degree in marketing, communications or similar, 2.1 or above Experience of managing multiple social media accounts in terms of paid promotion and organic posts High level of editing and copywriting skills, with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating creative writing and grammar skills Experience of analysing digital activity Proficient in using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Email CRM System
