Do you have a passion for social media? We are looking for someone to help strengthen our social media and online presence, telling our story through digital means so we can reach more people through our Centre of Excellence approach to sharing best practice, and leading on the recovery narrative in Inverclyde.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage social media content
Create engaging posts across social media platforms'
Develop our brand across social media platforms
Launch new social media platforms
Monitor analytics and adjust strategies for better engagement
Respond to followers and build community relationships
Work closely with the team to develop content
Manage a social media calendar to ensure posts are scheduled
Creation of a newsletter and updates for stakeholders and partners
Requirements
Previous experience would be preferred however, if you can demonstrate a flair for creativity and understanding of our service and what messaging we need to communicate you will be considered
Strong knowledge of social media platforms
Excellent written communication skills and creativity for presenting information - some of which will relate to relevant annual records for drug and alcohol statistics
Familiarity with tools such as Canva and Mailchimp etc
About Moving On Inverclyde
Moving On Inverclyde is the commissioned service delivering the Specialist Intensive Recovery Service within Inverclyde and we have been supporting individuals and their families affected by substance use since 2002. You will be joining us at an exciting time where we are expanding our work, rebranding, and launching a new website, and this role will be pivotal in supporting this work. We are also the only charity in Scotland to win a sapling from the felled Sycamore Gap Tree, which will be planted in the coming months as a "Tree of Hope" for our Recovery Community, another significant event to lead on.

Salary: 11,500 PA Contract: 16 hours per week - Fixed Term for 2 years initially
