We operate the exciting children's outdoor adventure centre Otterspool Adventure, high-energy trampoline parks called Velocity, and a magical Christmas event, The North Pole Experience. We're seeking a highly creative, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic Marketing and Design Executive to join our team and help us share the fun we offer!
About the Role:
As our Marketing and Design Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and creating visually compelling content across Otterspool Adventure, Velocity trampoline parks, and The North Pole Experience. You will play a key role in driving customer engagement, increasing brand awareness, and boosting sales. This is a hands-on role for a proactive and results-oriented individual with a passion for design and marketing, family entertainment, and a strong creative flair.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Social Media Strategy:
Develop, implement, and manage marketing and social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, E-mail) for Otterspool Adventure, Velocity, and The North Pole Experience.
Content Creation & Design:
Create engaging and effective content for social media, websites, email campaigns, brochures, posters, and other promotional assets, including graphics, videos, and copywriting, using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Social Media Management & Optimization:
Plan, schedule, and publish social media content, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence. Manage and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to achieve specific marketing objectives and maximize ROI. Analyse social media performance using analytics tools, and use insights to refine content, targeting, and spend.
Paid Advertising:
Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media for each brand, including Facebook and Instagram, ensuring effective targeting, budget management, and performance optimization. Plan, create, and manage effective Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns for Otterspool Adventure, Velocity, and The North Pole Experience, including audience targeting, ad creative development, budget allocation, performance monitoring, and optimization.
Website Management & SEO:
Maintain and update website content for each brand, ensuring it is current, informative, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
Email Marketing:
Create and manage email marketing campaigns for each brand to nurture leads, promote events, and drive bookings.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, understand customer needs, and track competitor activities. Analyze marketing campaign performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Event Promotion:
Develop and execute marketing plans for special events and promotions for each brand, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance.
Budget Management & Reporting:
Manage marketing budgets effectively, track expenses, and prepare regular reports on marketing performance, including key metrics and insights. Present marketing plans, campaign results, and recommendations to management.
Brand Consistency & Collaboration:
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels. Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business goals and a seamless customer experience across all brands.
Trend Awareness:
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices.
Skills and Experience:
Extensive previous experience in social media marketing, including content design, planning, scheduling, copywriting, and running paid ads across multiple platforms.
A strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to use data to optimize content and ad campaigns for ROI.
Excellent working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Video editing experience in Premier Pro or a similar program is highly desirable.
A proven track record of planning and delivering successful social media paid ad campaigns with a portfolio of previous work and results to demonstrate.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferable.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role, preferably in the leisure or entertainment industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Benefits:
A competitive salary of 32,000 - 35,000 (depending on your skills and experience).
A full-time, permanent position after a successful probationary period.
