The Role

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key part in supporting our marketing strategy across The Fitness Group's websites. You'll be responsible for ensuring our sites are optimised for search, user-friendly, and up to date with engaging, accurate content.

Your work will help drive organic growth, improve visibility online, and create a seamless experience for our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain The Fitness Group websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines. Write, edit, and optimise website copy, blog posts, landing pages, and other content for SEO. Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search rankings. Monitor site performance, track analytics, and report insights to the Marketing Manager. Support the Marketing Manager in delivering campaigns and wider strategy across multiple digital channels. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all updates and content support business goals. Assist with content planning and optimisation for new course launches, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns.

What We're Looking For

Experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO, content, and website management. Excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging, clear, and persuasive copy. Solid understanding of SEO principles (on-page optimisation, keyword research, metadata, internal linking). Experience working with CMS platforms (WordPress). Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread/edit content. Analytical mindset -- confident using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs). Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple projects with deadlines. Someone who has a passion for health and fitness and some knowledge/experience in the fitness industry. A team player who's keen to learn, contribute ideas, and grow within a supportive environment.
