Based in the Midlands, Crown provides van couriers for thousands of routes nationwide, working with some of the UK's best-loved brands in the logistics sector. This is an exciting role for a Digital Marketing specialist to support our ambitious growth plan to lead and drive the brand presence in the digital marketing world.

Roles and Responsibilities to include;



Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase brand appeal to our key audiences and improve the digital brand experience, aligned to the business's service improvement and growth plans. Develop a roadmap and implement structured plans encompassing web, social media and CRM, to serve effective and targeted comms to strengthen brand appeal and relationships with key stakeholders in support of our growth targets. As the digital marketing champion, drive-up standards in how we use each channel to optimal effect, from positioning the brand and targeting key audiences, to building awareness that delivers conversion and retention gains. Collaborate with teams across the business to devise and implement initiatives that will improve the effectiveness of our digital marketing channels. Set stretching KPIs, putting measurement and reporting in place to track digital marketing performance. Build a testing programme to drive continual improvements, selectively applying champion/challenger activity, rolling out as appropriate and adapting activities to improve performance. Adopt a data-driven approach, using performance insights to identify trends, create forecasts, set targets, build performance reports and analyse ROI impact. Proactively identify efficiency and optimisation improvements, managing budgets and suppliers effectively. Build and protect the brand by ensuring all digital marketing activity remains aligned to the agreed tone and identity.

Candidate Criteria



Ideally minimum 2yrs experience in B2B or B2C digital marketing. Highly competent in digital marketing, with technical knowledge across digital channels, platforms, systems, PPC/SEO and tools including Google Analytics/Adwords, Wordpress/CMS, CRM, testing, tracking and reporting. Highly capable and motivated to achieve ambitious targets, due to a data-informed and diligent approach, with strong analytical skills and advanced level of creative and technical skills. Experience of collaborating at all levels, bringing new ideas in to the mix and presenting formal recommendations to senior colleagues. Strong command of key performance metrics relevant to digital marketing. Outstanding copywriting and creative skills, with high attention to detail. A strategic mindset with a reputation for making swift progress coupled with quality. Committed to personal career development. An appreciation of the challenges (e.g. technical, creative, commercial, competitive) to consider when creating content and campaigns.
