About the Role



We are seeking a strategic, proactive, and highly organized

Digital Media Planner/Buyer

to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate brings a

minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in media planning and buying, with proven success translating business and marketing goals into performance-driven media strategies and executing them end-to-end.

This role requires strong analytical abilities, platform and ad-tech fluency, and exceptional communication skills. You will collaborate cross-functionally, work directly with clients, and help drive measurable impact through thoughtful planning, precise execution, and insightful reporting.

Responsibilities



Media Planning & Buying



Develop performance-driven media plans that ladder up to strategic marketing and business objectives. Execute full-funnel, multi-channel campaigns from planning through deployment, monitoring, optimization, and reporting Build, traffic, and QA campaigns in Campaign Manager 360 (CM360). Lead vendor outreach, negotiation, and ongoing management to ensure optimal performance and value.

Technical Execution & Data Stewardship



Support pixel and tagging architecture, ensuring accurate measurement and data collection across platforms. Assess, monitor, and troubleshoot data flows across media platforms, analytics tools, and automated reporting solutions. Partner with internal and client-side account, analytics, and BI teams to resolve data discrepancies and optimize reporting ecosystems. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform optimization, planning, and broader business decisions.

Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration



Serve as a trusted client-facing partner, confidently presenting strategies, performance updates, insights, and recommendations. Work closely with strategy, creative, analytics, and account teams to align media execution with broader marketing efforts. Communicate clearly and proactively, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Leadership & Work Style



Operate as an independent self-starter within a fully remote environment, managing priorities and deadlines with minimal oversight. Navigate ambiguity and complexity with structured thinking and a solution-oriented approach. Contribute to process improvements and best practices for media planning, execution, and measurement.

Qualifications



Minimum 5+ years of experience in media planning, buying, and campaign management. Demonstrated experience in allocating budgets against complex multi channel media executions Demonstrated expertise in CM360 ad trafficking Knowledge of various DSPs, SSPs and walled garden media channels Strong understanding of pixel/tagging frameworks and measurement best practices. Deep comfort with data analysis and the ability to simplify and communicate it effectively. Proven track record of managing client relationships and presenting insights and recommendations with clarity and confidence. Experience coordinating with BI, analytics, and technical teams to resolve data issues.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a distributed team environment.

Location:

Fully-Remote. Representing a Canadian agency that serves clients in the UK and South Africa.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 25,000.00-55,000.00 per year
