The Team

This role sits in Depop\'s Commercial Growth Team, who develop and build a differentiated inventory proposition and deliver plans in partnership with cross-functional teams to help our users both buy and sell successfully. Our team power what buyers see on and offsite and guide and influence our sellers on what to sell.

The Role

As an intern, you will assist our team in a number of daily activities that support our Digital on-site merchandising and curation efforts and our Category manager. Our team is highly collaborative and you will get the opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams including Product, Marketing, Insights and PR - meaning you get a lot of visibility and opportunity to learn about a number of different areas within the business. This internship will give you an insightful exploration of Category Management and Digital Merchandising within the wonderful world of fashion marketplaces.

Responsibilities

There is always a large variety of tasks and projects our team is working on, so we\'re looking for someone with a can do attitude. Some of your responsibilities are:

  • You assist in generating our bi-weekly inventory reports where you will look at internal demand & supply data and make competitive analysis
  • You will co-lead on our \'Seller Referral\' project, a program that is set up to recruit additional sellers in high demand categories to our platform. Tasks include defining the mechanics, end-to-end execution and communication with our sellers
  • You also assist in wider efforts to educate our most engaged sellers on what to sell on Depop by generating and sharing insights and recommendations on categories and brands
  • You support with the selection of listings that are used in-app (e.g. The Depop Edit) and high quality assets in our Paid channels to showcase to our buyers the best items that Depop has to offer
  • You play a vital role in the day-to-day smooth running of our team which includes supporting a number of activities such as: performance tracking of our real estate, checking content for our CRM emails and wider team administrative tasks
Qualifications

Requirements
  • Project management - Experience in running projects end-to-end in a standalone manner
  • Analytical Mind - You are comfortable with analysing data and insights
  • Detail-orientation - You have strong attention to detail, you are organised and can juggle a variety of different tasks
  • Autonomous self starter - You have a hands on mentality and work smartly around any challenges which may arise
  • Love of our Industry - You have a thorough understanding of secondhand fashion marketplaces and Depop\'s competitors, ideally with previous work experience in the industry
This role requires you to be in the London office at least twice a week between Tuesday - Thursday
